Times for 2023 and Results
Best Kept Team: Mikki Douglass
All courses depart from the Frog Lake Sno-Park parking lot and head out on NF-2610.
The two-dog and recreational skijor take the first right available, and go down to the lake where they will run alongside Frog Lake until reaching a tear-drop turn around.
4-dog and 6-dog will continue on NF-2610 before turning off to the ‘right’ to head out towards the ‘gravel pit.’ The 4-dog completes a tear drop turn at the gravel pit and returns to NF-2610. The 6-dog runs through some trees before completing a loop up an uphill incline that returns them to the main road.
By nature of the course, there is a high possibility of head-on passing in most classes. However, the trail is ‘forest service road’ wide giving ample distance to pass on either side.

Planning
Navigate to Frog Lake Sno-Park and Trailhead, which is right off Hwy 26 after Government Camp.
Camping is allowed in Frog Lake Sno-Park and there will be other teams choosing to camp as lodging is scarce and expensive in Government Camp.
Make sure that you have a Sno-Park Permit, which can be purchased at area gas stations or Ace Hardware Store in Sandy.
If you are staying at Rhododendron or lower in elevation (e.g. Welches, Sandy, Portland), you will need to be on the road and at Rhododendron by 7am to avoid ski traffic. Ski Traffic begins at Sandy around 6:30am and can severely impact your arrival time at Frog Lake.
